[ On December 31st, Yesod will wake up to a small, plainly wrapped package topped with a big bow at his doorstep. Attached to the gift is a card bearing a message written in elegant script. ]

It is tradition where I come from to open presents right before the turn of the year, so that one enters the new year in delight, but you may of course choose to open it any time you desire.

[ Within the package is a hand carved wooden snake figurine, carefully sealed with some sort of finish so it doesn't rot in the humidity. The special design of the figurine makes it obvious that it wasn't store bought—perhaps Ratio carved the trinket himself? Either way, it comes with a cute little cushion that it can be placed on, but its flat underside means it can be used as a proper paperweight if Yesod so desires. ]

The man keeps himself busy, after all, and he is a pragmatic person, but he doesn't seem to neglect paying attention to others in the process.
